Volvo All Engine Actuator Supply Voltage “A” P065713 Solution

The following components are connected to a common 12V supply

1) A138: DEF Direction valve

2) A138: Aftertreatment Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Pump Motor

3) Y81: Aftertreatment Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) Tank Heater Valve

If an abnormal voltage or current is detected on the common supply a DTC is set

Procedures:

1.Place the machine in the service position B

2.Open the engine hood.

3.Turn the belt tensioner clockwise using a ratchet hand tool and remove the engine drive belt.

NOTE!

The belt adjuster tension is very strong. Therefore pay attention to prevent injury after removing belt.

NOTE!

Lock the belt tensioner pulley with a pin ø5 mm (0.2 in) when removing the belt.

4.Turn the belt tensioner clockwise using a ratchet hand tool and remove the alternator/compressor belt.

NOTE!

The belt adjuster tension is very strong. Therefore pay attention to prevent injury after removing belt.

NOTE!

Lock the belt tensioner pulley with a pin ø5 mm (0.2 in) when removing the belt.

5.Install the new engine drive belt and alternator/compressor belt.

6.Close the engine hood.

Notice:

Take care of filters, oils and liquids in an environmentally safe way.

 

Procedures:

1.Unscrew the leakage oil filter cap (1).

2.Take off the filter element (2).

3.Check the filter element for dirt and large particles.

4.Inspect the filter element and the filter housing for mechanical damage.

5.Clean the leakage oil filter cap (1).

6.Install a new filter element (2).

7.Install and tighten the leakage oil filter cap.

 

NOTE!

Tightening torque: 8 Nm (5.9 lbf ft)
